My bf and I don’t use condoms. We did have a pregnancy scare abt two years ago and even that wasn’t enough to make him care to use a condom. A few months ago he did bring up the idea of using them and it made me feel a bit odd. In my prior relationship, when my ex wanted to start using condoms it’s bc he was cheating. (I know we should be using condoms regardless) anyways so Saturday, my bf came over and I seen he stopped at target on his way. He usually only does this to buy me flowers. Well when he came in, he only had one individual flower which he claimed he bought off the street from some woman. I believe that, there is a lot of ppl who sell flowers like that. Well then I asked why he went to target and he got defensive so I just left alone thinking maybe he couldn’t afford a full bouquet of flowers? So whatever that was that. The following day he left and I actually was pretty sick throwing up so I went in a drawer I don’t typically use for a thermometer. To my surprise I see a condom! I had just been in that drawer a few days prior and I know darn well I’ve never had a condom so I ask him and he said yes he put it there. The reason I’m upset is bc he is the type to play mind games. I think he put it there so at a later date he could “find” it and start an argument. He told me he put it there bc “he had a plan but aborted last minute” now I just feel super weird with the situation. I then too thought like wow he went to target and spent money on condoms but couldn’t buy me flowers. If that lady wasn’t selling them on the street he wouldn’t have bought me anything. I also wonder if he is cheating now too. And now he has a whole box of condoms to use. Idk I’m not trying to sound crazy but I just don’t want to go through the same thing as before. I’ve also told my bf too what I went through so even if he wanted to start using condoms why go abt it that way? Why put it in my drawer THAT HE KNOWS I NEVER USE. He didn’t pick a popular drawer that’s what makes me think he was trying to set me up.
