My best friend and I (both F 18) have been friends since our freshman year of high school. About 3 weeks ago our school had its annual prom, and naturally the two of us were going to go together. This however changed when she told me she: had a crush on and was going with a guy we both know who I previously dated a year prior. I usually try to be supportive of my friends but this ticked me off. She asked me how I felt about it and I said it hurt my feelings not only that she was essentially leaving me alone on prom night but also that she chose my ex over me. I eventually found out that she wasn’t just going to prom with him but also, getting ready, going out, and going to an after party with him and all of our friends and didn’t invite me until last minute. When she did invite me she told me that I would have to find a ride everywhere (we don’t have cars yet) and that she would crash at my house after, not even asking. Eventually we all went to prom and had a decent time, now however she is upset with me because I don’t support the relationship and I’m not congratulating her. So AITAH?
