I (22F) was in a relationship with Tom (25M). I have 2 kids from a previous relationship and I fully support them due to the passing of their father. Me and Tom started dating a couple months back and things have been going good but the marriage topic has come up in random conversation. He thinks that marriage isn’t beneficial for a man and that he only wants children. I was just replying to his argument by stating how backwards that logic is when he said “well maybe you should’ve told your children’s father that before you let him knock you up while unmarried”. I don’t understand why he would say that to me especially knowing the details of the situation. I’m thinking maybe he thinks women are all gold diggers but he has no gold to dig… I’m the financial stable one in the relationship and feel that it would be very beneficial for any man to have a wife with a good head on her shoulders.
