My brother (17) ate 4 palm sized mochis right before dinner and skipped dinner to eat half a tiramisu the size of his face at 11 pm (4 servings). We clearly informed him we have ordered takeaway and are also cooking some food he likes.
He's eaten to the point of vomiting before. Recently he also asked the family for money separately as if other members weren't giving him any, then spending all that money on a solo buffet, and then shat his guts out the next day.
Are we the ahs for telling him he shouldn't be doing this due to health reasons? Is there anything else we can do to help him?
Edit: he's gotten health problems over this. We've consulted a lot of doctors and traditional medicine practitioners, their advice is similar. But it really doesn't do anything when he ignores all that and constantly challenges his spice (and intestinal) tolerance. He's not overweight or anything, because all this just doesn't get digested and gets flushed out either end. He doesn't actually listen to any advice and dismisses any concerns with "look, you don't even know what you're talking about anymore"
He acts similarly with eye health and phone usage.
