aitah for checking on my dad? I (18F) primarily live with my mom, but spend every other weekend with my dad (58M). My mom lives about 25 minutes away from my dad. We were supposed to get lunch today at 1pm which he told me at 9am. I texted him back at 11am asking where we were meeting. He never responded. I called him, he didn’t answer. I called him and texted him several more times, which he did not answer. I then started to get super worried because he lives alone and if something happened to him, no one would know. So I took to google trying to find a phone number for one of my neighbors, who I called. He knocked on my dad’s door and even checked the garage and my dad didn’t answer, and his car was there. That basically convinced me that he was dead because why would he not answer the door at 1pm on a saturday. So I started to drive up to his house literally sobbing when I got the text from my dad saying “i’m napping.” BRO. we literally had plans to meet for lunch. And I know he’s gonna be mad I contacted his neighbor. So aitah?
