Hello. I am a 18 year old who is an athlete and needs to eat a lot to keep up with my workouts etc. as I will be playing college basketball. At my high school, we have breakfast in which students can buy burritos and I bought one knowing I would be hungry during my next class. I arrive to my Theology class ready to eat my burrito, as I had ZERO preconceptions of my teacher’s apparent no food policy, nothing stated within the syllabus, nothing he had mentioned, nothing. My theology teacher told me to put it away and hold on to it for next class or whenever I wasnt in his class. I’m pretty particular about my food being warm/hot so this didn’t work for me. So I waited it out for a minute or two, laid low and got back to eating my burrito. Then my teacher got very mad saying that I was disrespectful and didn’t listen. He made me finish my burrito outside of his class and kicked me out. I brought this up to my group of friends after, expecting everyone to be on my side and almost nobody was. AITAH for attempting to finish my burrito and then not assuming that I was the bad guy?
