So to put it bluntly, I am a very unattractive person, so much that I always seem to stand out wherever I go, and people often stare at me in shock due to my appearance. Lately, I’ve been grappling with this issue: is it morally or ethically wrong for me to be seen when I go outside? I feel like I might be doing something evil by just existing in public. After all, people are seeing something they didn’t ask to see, my face, and it might be damaging for them. Just like exhibitionism is banned, maybe being this unattractive and going outside is also deeply unethical? A person even told me that by simply showing up and being seen, I’m ruining people’s day, maybe even traumatizing them or leaving a lasting imprint of my face in their mind. So, AITAH? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
