I (16M )met a girl (17M) through a mutual. We connected deep in a very short time. We never dated but we were definitely more than friends, we were constantly flirting, told each other we love them everyday before we went to bed and the tension was there whenever we met. She had moved into my city for a short time only to prepare for the admission exam to law school, so us going out was very rare, she had promised me many dates once she was done with her exams. Everything was perfect till the same mutual introduced her to another guy (17M) who was a good friend of mine too. She instantly starts paying less attention to me, did things with him that she didn't with me like playing video games together, she said she hated gaming. I was jealous but i never pointed out. Eventually came the day she gave her exam, she was disappointed with how it went so i let her be for a few days, but i did ask her to go on dates that we planned after her exam and she started making excuses everytime I brought it up. I got really upset and I said a lot of things to her. She told me she was suicidal and i told her that she didn't have the courage to do it. She was already going through a bad time and then i hurt her even further. She did forgive me but things were never the same, she left for her hometown soon after and we never went on that date. A week later i find out that she's dating the other guy. I felt shattered but I did hurt her and he was probably there for her through it all. I cut all ties with both of them even though she was very adamant on us still staying friends, for her we were never nothing more. AITAH?
