Hey guys this is my first time using reddit so let me know if i’m doing it right! okay im 19 F and my boyfriend 19 M go to community college in our home town and still live with our parents. I just started dating my boyfriend and his stepdad is a very opinionated individual I often disagree with most of his comments on politics or anything in general (I obviously never say anything)I sometimes stay the night at my boyfriend’s and it seems that anytime i’m there his stepdad yells at him and forces him to do extreme amounts of chores. Let me also say that I don’t mind chores in general like stuff needs to be clean and done i get it. But his stepdad does too much one day he made my boyfriend do 3 hours of yard work and once he was done he came to hangout with me we went to his place and his stepdad started yelling about more chores. that’s all he does is yell and bitch and complain quite frankly it’s annoying my boyfriend does more than enough and isn’t obligated to take care of his step dad and mom. This past weekend my boyfriend told me his stepdad feels uncomfortable in his own home bc i avoid him and leave anytime he’s around. I’ve had other problems with his stepdad in the past too so i’m asking AITAH????
