My great grandma on my dad's side has her birthday dinner on the same day my grandma on my mom's side is having Easter dinner. I do not want to go to the birthday dinner, and I've voiced this to my dad. My dad went on to say "she won't be around much longer" and "I guess I'll just tell her Easter was more important than her". This has made me feel bad about choosing Easter dinner, but I rarely get to see my brother and niece and nephew, and I see my great grandma almost every weekend.
