I (31F) am getting married this fall. My MOH is planning my bachelorette weekend for a couple weeks before the wedding and I invited my bridal party (6 of my closest friends), my mom and my two aunties. We booked the Airbnb which has a max capacity of 10 people and very strict rules on no more than 10 people staying there or visiting. After we had already booked the bnb my aunt “Jen” texted the group chat (that I’m not in) asking if there was room for my cousin (her daughter) “Kelly” to join. My MOH told her something along the lines of “No, we are at max capacity for the bnb and Kelly wasn’t on the bride’s invite list”. My aunt then proceeded to say she wasn’t coming if Kelly wasn’t invited. A little context… Kelly lives several states away from me. We haven’t been super close since we were kids/teens, we are complete opposites and always have been. She invited me to her bachelorette party/weekend and I went because my mom pressured me to go, I really didn’t want to go. I ended up having a great time regardless. I love my cousin but I really just wanted a low key weekend away with my girls, my mom and my aunties. So AITAH for not inviting my cousin?
