So some context I f18 am graduating and getting my GED. I dropped out my junior year to get my GED. My dad was struggling a bit with alcoholism that will make sense a little bit later. So it's like the beginning of January, I'm talking with my dad about having to pay part of the rent for a new apartment he was trying to move to. My brother comes in talking about something I don't remember what. My brother and dad started arguing and my brother said that he was going to call mom cause she helps solve conflicts and dad was trying to stop him. And so they're now in the hallway in front of my brothers room and dad was in fact drinking that day like he did everyday.

So my brother asked if he was drunk and for whatever reason dad took that to heart and grabbed my brother's shirt, brother pushes Dad off then runs out the apartment with no shoes or jacket with a ripped shirt. So I start freaking out and ended up calling mom cause she doesn't live close by but because I need help from a parent who had been drinking and I don't know how much he drank. (Shade) I needed the MY car keys to figure out where he ran to. But because my dad took me off the insurance that I was helping pay for, he wouldn't let me drive and let me get the little ticket. But no he had to drive and he convinced my mom he wasn't drunk or drinking.

I got into the car and we went so far from where my brother was because if some of y'all didn't know alcohol interferes with rational thinking. So we ended up on a road that I forgot made a Sharp turn. Also it's like 12am at this point so I've taken my night meds so I'm struggling to keep up with everything that was going on. So we're on this road and I don't realize that we're going so fast until I see we pass the sign that says sharp right and I mean so sharp you can drift it. But we didn't drift it we went straight at 80mph and it was a 35 to 25mph road. My car is totaled I got it as a Christmas gift from my parents friends that I worked for occasionally. I ended up with whiplash luckily.

Anyway I now have my graduation coming up and I want my family to be there and my boyfriend is going to be there but I'm thinking about not inviting my dad cause he is now the reason I have trouble riding in a car and I have to drive 4 hours on the highway to go to my graduation practice.
