Hi! I live in a college dorm with my roommate, who I love very much. Recently, she started seeing this guy, but things didn’t go smoothly, so they decided to just be friends. Even though they’re "just friends," it’s still very flirty. She talks about him constantly, and it’s incredibly draining. Nobody understands why he’s still in her life when he keeps treating her poorly. He occupies so much of her time, whether it’s talking to him or about him. I’m not a big fan of him either, based on his past actions, and that’s somewhat obvious. There have been issues in the past where they’ve had sex in places we both agreed they shouldn’t (sex is a bed-only activity, as we agreed 😭), and he comes over at really inconvenient times, which makes me uncomfortable. To me, he’s just a random guy—though to her, she knows him well—but I don’t want a random guy in our shared room when I’m trying to go to bed or do homework. He thinks we have a friendly, jokey relationship, but he does things that push my buttons, and it just pisses me off. I’m so tired of hearing about him, hearing him on the phone, or having him in my room. It feels like I’m going crazy. Tonight, he came over right before I was about to go to bed, and I immediately closed the bathroom door behind me. He kept calling my name and trying to get me to respond, but I was so annoyed that I gave him the silent treatment, which I know was childish. He later apologized, and they left together. AITA for finally getting mad?
