📝 AITAH for not wanting to spend more money on the vet trying to save my pet?

Please excuse my english, I'll try to explain as clear as possible.

I'm a 21 year old, I live with my mom. I study and work and my mom is retired. We live with around 35k each month (not usd), we have a simple but nice lifestyle.

This last month our senior pet rabbit got sick and we took her to the vet. I have 10k saved in case of any emergency, we used 7k, but our baby is not recovering and the vet told us that she needs surgery to try and save her. The vet told us there's a risk she won't wake up, since the rabbit is 9 years old.

We can try to save her and eat rice all month, I haven't paid the light or internet yet, but the rest of the food money is free, I just don't know if is worth it to use another 7k to try and save her... what if she dies anyway?

I adore my pet, but I don't want to use all our money and end up in a very thight situation with my elderly mom. What happens if next month she gets sick? What happens if I get sick?
I don't want to hurt my mom feelings neither, but it's just an unholy amount of money, another 7k makes 14k, almost half of our monthly money.....I also used all my savings.

I know my mom thinks I'm heartless since I haven't cried in front of her, since my dad passed I take care of everything and I don't want to be my dad, I just want to be her daughter... not her husband, taking all the hard decisions...sigh
