A few months ago my father offered to have us move into his home so we could save money, he assured as there were all kinds of good paying jobs in the area. Fast forwards to now it's been 5 months and my partner has applied to every single job that pops up but apparently there are no jobs around here and most of the people here are unemployed so everyone applied to all the jobs, so we have almost no money as I'm on maternity leave, we are not saving money as we spend it all taking my father to work (we have told him we can't afford it and he claims he will give me gas money but then never does and never has any money when we ask for it) and buying groceries as this is a ruralish area and we need to drove 20km to the nearest town for food. I have an infant and unfortunately we struggle with putting her down (partly my own fault i know its been a learning curve for sure). She's gotten better. I can put her in the jolly jumper for like 30 min before she gets upset. So I have been more on the ball about cleaning up after ourselves. My father keeps complaining at me that the dishes are dirty. I make sure all my daughters, my partners and my dishes are done daily, if supper dishes aren't done night of I do them in the morning before breakfast. So after the 4th time of telling me I'm not keeping up with the dishes I decided to no longer wash his dishes as he doesn't eat with us or anything so it's all different dishes. It's been almost a month and all his dishes are still just piled off to the side.. I even asked him to do his dishes as he's used almost every bowl in the house. Am I the AH for not doing his dishes?
