I recently put my boyfriend on this show I love. It’s an anime which he always used to hate and liked to jokingly call me a nerd for. Anyway I begged him to watch a few episodes and he loved it. I had watched everything except the shows most recent season because it had just been completed.

I made my boyfriend promise he could watch it as much as he wanted but when he got to the last season he would stop we could watch it together. He agreed and promised.

Now my boyfriend recently has been failing to keep small promises and I had a conversation about it with him and he said he would not break anymore. I had told him if he cant keep his word on the little things how could I trust his word on the big things. We had already had an incident where he had a huge fuck up and he promised he wouldn’t do it again but if he doesn’t even keep his littlest promises how do I trust him. He agreed that I was right so we moved on.

Last night he called me asking if he could watch one episode and I promised in the morning we could watch it together. I texted him when I woke up and was waiting for him to let me know when to watch. He texted me back saying he wasn’t in the mood to speak so I understood and did my own thing. A little while later he starts texting me about other things and then causally slips in the fact that I can watch the 5 first episode of the show and we can watch the rest together.

I was fuming and I told him we could talk tomorrow because I was no longer in the spirit to talk to him today and then I put my phone on DND. I get a million calls and I pick up and tell him I don’t want to talk. He begged me to explain and I asked what his explanation was and he only said “I’ll still rewatch it with you” which only pissed me off more so I said fuck you. Then he said I’m making a big deal out of nothing and that it’s just a show but it’s not it’s MY FAVORITE show. And I had been waiting out to watch it with him. I then argued even tho I was mad about the show it was more about the promise. I told him I no longer wanted to speak at the moment and didn’t want to argue to which he yelled “you’re making such a big deal about this” and hung up.

We agreed to not talk atm but I was still mad so what did I decide to do….. I posted a fake spoiler of his favorite character dying. He was pissed and told me I went too far spoiling it. To which I said “why are you so mad it’s just a show” so guys aitah?
