I went with my family to a hotel with an indoor water park for a few days. There are all day lockers you can rent to put your belongings in and towels are provided by the water park. People use these towels on all the chairs and tables to reserve them as soon as the paek opens, but they hardly ever sit at them. These tables and sunchairs are all around the park, some of them are in front of little restraunts. For lunch my family went to one of the little restraunts and ordered food but there were no tables or chairs anywhere because people had "reserved" them with the towels as soon as they opened. So I moved 2 towels off a table and we ate there. We sat for a while after we finished eating, before we were ready to swim again. A lady comes up to us after we were there about an hour and asks why we moved her towels she had "reserved" that table when the park opened and it was hers. I told her I just assumed they were resort towels and we were eating lunch at the restraunt. She was livid. I asked if she was going to eat at the restaurant and apologized if that was the case but she said she wasn't, she just wanted that table all day. AITAH for moving towels so we could eat at a table? So many tables and chairs "reserved" for people who never use them?
TLDR: AITAH for moving towels off a table no one was activley using so I could actively use it?
