📝 AITAH for serving my vegan sister real meat at my wedding because I was sick of her attitude?

I (31M) recently got married to the love of my life (28F). We had a beautiful wedding with about 100 guests. My sister (26F) is a very vocal vegan and has made nearly every family gathering about her diet for the past 4 years.

For example: • She brings her own food to events even when we accommodate her. • She lectures people who eat meat at the table. • She once threw out my mom’s Thanksgiving turkey claiming it was “a corpse in the fridge.”

So when it came time for our wedding, we did offer vegan options — but as a bit of a joke (and petty revenge, I admit), I instructed the caterers to make her “vegan” dish look exactly like a filet mignon. It was actual steak.

She ate it. Said it was “shockingly good.” Later, when someone spilled the beans (my drunk cousin thought it was hilarious), she freaked out — like full-on screaming, crying, calling me a murderer, the whole scene.

Now she’s threatening to cut me off, sue the caterer, and go public on social media about how I “violated her bodily autonomy.”

My wife thinks I went too far and my mom is furious with me. But honestly? I don’t regret it. I was just tired of her treating every event like a protest.

AITAH?
