For context I've been with this guy for a few months now and me and one of his girl best friends didn't really hit it off. She immediately started being bitchy to me before me and the guy got together.

And when she found out me and him had feeling for each other she only got meaner to me. And after a while of her sort of avoiding me I decided to friend her and try to talk to her in hopes to finally get along with her.

She's a lesbian as far as I was told and me and my bf are male so my initial thought isn't that she has feelings for him.

Though as I was talking to her we seemed to get along fine for the most part until I got a message from my boyfriend asking why I was talking to her. I told him I was just trying to clear things up. He said okay and then he sent me a screen shot of his friend saying I was 'fucking weird for talking to her' and so obviously I was a bit taken aback.

But now my boyfriend is apologizing for his friend and I feel like maybe I'm to asshole for trying to sort things out.
