this does sound bad but let me explain. i’ve been dating this boy M19 who i go to uni with, our university is Brighton and although he is from Brighton and has friends and family who live here i am from London (which for anyone who doesn’t live in the Uk is about and 2-3 hour journey). my roommate is my best friend who i’ve known since i was 4 so she is the only person i have from home. the problem is during secondary school me and my best friend used to date, when we met i was very transparent with the fact i identify as bisexual and he was always been okay with that. me and my best friend broke up when we were 15 and are now both 18, since we had been friends for so long we remained best friends and our relationship has been strictly platonic since. because it is easter my and my best friend went home (our families live 5 minutes away from each other) and my boyfriend joined us, we were at my house for a meal when my younger brother mentioned when me and my best friend used to date. my boyfriend got all cold and wouldn’t talk to anyone for the rest of the meal, i spoke to him after the meal and he told me it made him feel uncomfortable knowing i sleep in the same house as my ex every night and he felt betrayed i hadn’t told him about it, i explain that i didn’t see her as my ex just my best friend but he insisted that it was wrong and that i should cut ties with her and move out. i have known her for 14 years and she is a big part of my life but i do really like him and i don’t want to end our relationship. please give advice i’m so desperate 😭😭😭

hi just some clarifications: 1. him and my ex are friends they have always got along and have had no prior issues 2. i didn’t intentionally not tell him i just simply forgot 3. me and my friend dated for the age of 14-15 so it wasn’t sexual or anything
