About 2 months into the relationship between october 19th & october 26th I thought my partner and I were getting along really well. The only issue I was having was that she was hanging out with this older guy named rex alot.. staying up late at night with him, getting high. Her excuse was that she "had to live with him, so she was just being friendly" hes in his 50s so i thought nothing of it. Until there was a show called Boo Festival, I got VIP guestlist to the show a couple of days before the show. I told my girlfriend "hey i know I said I wouldnt go to any shows without you, but stephen really wanted me to go and even got me on the vip guestlist so with this one exception I hope you can be understanding. Ill make sure to text you and video chat you or whatever you need to feel reassured.".

Around noon I tried to message her because I got her on the VIP guestlist with me but the deadline was 6pm. She had to be there by 6pm. I blew her phone up all day long for hours trying to get her to show up so that we could attend the festival together. Nothing. Not until 9pm when I was already inside 3 hours after the show started. She tried to message me. and I asked where the hell she's been and why she ignored me all day? She was with rex all day, high, at the beach. She tells me she was disassociated, and too high to pay attention. That she was really upset that I was going to the show without her. That he told her they were just going to go pick up prescriptions for the lady they lived with and that they wouldnt be gone long, but that he just drove her to the next town over and that she was so out of it that she didnt realize until they were already in the next town over. When she texted me at 9pm and asked me if she could still come see me after the show, I flat out told her "No why would I want to see you after you ignored me all day long, hanging out with another man who actively ignored my phone calls when I was trying to figure out where you were? Im just going to go home and sleep afterwards because you kind of ruined this entire experience for me.. i cant even have a good time at this festival because I got you vip guestlist just for you to be with another man and leave me to go.to this show by myself wondering why.." This guy rex made inappropriate comments towards her like about slipping into bed with her and trying to make moves on her before this incident, and she would defend him "oh he was just drunk", or "oh he didnt really mean it" But instead of doing what most women do when theyre dating someone and ignoring the guy or at least not entertaining him. She did the opposite and became really close "friends" with him. After this incident later down the timeline around thanksgiving she actually DID have sex with him. Further proving me right about their dynamic.

So am I the asshole for not wanting to see her after the show? Am I in the wrong for telling her to leave me alone until the next day because she ruined the whole festival for me?
