Hey Reddit I never post on here so excuse me for any mishaps. Me and my husband been married more than 5 years information vague as not to be found out. We each have 2 kids from previous relationship I have custody of mine and he has custody of his. Well he is graduating this year and only received 5 tickets which is enough for me and our kids. We'll he said one of them will have to miss it if he can't get more tickets because he want his mother who BTW has not been really involved in our lives or her grandkids not including my 2 for years. I was the one that encouraged him to go back and get his degree me and the kids were the ones supporting him through it all heck I did his assignments sometimes. When he said that I knew one of mine would be left out and so I told him I will not go if they aren't because I feel it's wrong to leave them out when they have been looking forward for 2 years now to see him graduating also how would I look going with the other kids and leaving 1 behind. So Reddit AITAH
Edit: There is too many replies to respond to so to answer some questions I keep seeing.
1: The kids are all teens we have raised the kids together since toddlers and elementary age. The kids and I encouraged him to go back and kept him motivated, he asked and needed my help so I helped him with assignments he could not do.
2: Our kids play and enjoy things like normal kids but they also love STEM, Ballet, Broadway, Opera, Various kinds of Museums and other things some would consider most kids find boring and not entertaining they love to travel internationally, One want to be a Paleontologist/ Archeologist, One a Doctor, One a Teacher and the other still deciding between a few choices.
