My sister has recently been wondering why she’s not allowed to be alone with my kids, (ex. Me or my so are always in the same room as her, telling her we’re not gonna have her babysit, etc…)

Anyhow, the reason why this is is because growing up together, she’s always gotten physically and verbally abusive whenever she got stressed or overstimulated, (And has even tried to kill me on more than one occasion.) I haven’t seen her get violent in a few years, and we’ve even become good friends, but I just don’t feel like my kids would be safe with her watching them as they are still young and very much stressful.

Am I the a-hole?
