to preface this, i haven’t actually said anything to anyone about this, this is just how i feel and i feel that i might be the AH for thinking this. anyways, so my friend (17F), let’s call her ash, talks about guys ALOT. pretty much every convo i have with her is about her current crush of the season, it’s been like this since pretty much forever, she’s always ranting about how some guy is into her (even tho it is very clear he is not) or how she’s been texting some guy. recently she’s had this situationship(?) where this guy flirts with her and she flirts back but then she denies them liking each other , yet when someone says maybe he doesn’t like you, she starts ranting about how he said ‘i miss you’ or ‘baby’ to her, then if you say ok so yall obviously like each other, she’ll go off saying how they’re ’just friends’ and how ‘friends can say i miss you and get on call for hours’

and now it’s seriously getting annoying to me, like does she want me to keep saying ‘ohh he definitely like you’ to get validated or something?i don’t know what im supposed to be saying to this. on top of that every conversation i have with her always somehow ends up being about some guy, it’s like she physically cannot talk about anything else other than men and she’s pmo.

however, i feel like a bad friend because she obviously does trust me if she’s telling me all this and i shouldn’t be judging her but man it really is getting annoying. so, AITA?
