My boyfriend (M32) and I (F33) have been together for five years and we have a daughter (F2).
Since she was born, I've been the main caretaker, at first it made sense since I breastfed her, but when my boyfriend had to do something he let his mother do it (change diapers, bathe her, etc.) And since my mother in law is not the best person to take care of her (she ignores my requests and tries to raise my daughter however she thinks best), I've ended up doing almost every chore related to baby while he was either working or playing videogames or fixing his videogame consoles (oh and asking for sex everytime the baby was asleep). Edit: forgot to mention I also had to do almost every housechore as well (laundry, vacuuming, etc.) This has affected me physical and mentally and these days I've been more tired than usual, especially since LO is going through the terrible two phase, so boyfriend has to deal with it alone (because his parents are also exhausted) and he complains about how hard is to take care of our kid and that he's been about to cry a couple of times. I just looked at him, nervously laughed and said "welcome to my world for the last two years." He got quite pissed and told me I was an AH instead of empathise with him. But what do you think? Because I personally think I'm NTA.
