Stopped talking to my “bestfriend” a year ago due to constant random messages she would send about my exes and what they are up to or even about people that had wronged me/were no longer in my life. I asked 3 different times to please stop randomly sending me screenshots of my ex being super fucking happy. She said she was sorry and wouldn’t do it again. Then I got a dm from Instagram from her and it was a reel of my ex getting their hair done. She said “isn’t this your ex? I can’t tell” knowing damn well what their face looks like. I finally told her I didn’t give a fuck to keep up with all these people that used to be in my life and since she couldn’t respect my boundaries, friendship was over. She didn’t care and didn’t even try to talk things through. Just went silent on me. So I blocked her. Fast forward to today and the ex bestfriend decided to reach out to my immediate family member about…you guessed it…my ex. My immediate family member she reached out to NEVER liked her and constantly told me how awful of a friend she was to me, so they were never actually friends or even acquaintances. Guess she wanted me to see my exes mugshot?? But once my family member told me about this random fucking message on Facebook, I unblocked my ex bestfriends number and told her to get a life and leave me alone. I blocked her number right after so I didn’t have to get a response. AITAH?? I think it’s pretty weird to get friendship dumped because she was constantly talking about my ex (and I asked multiple times for her to stop bringing them up) and then after a year of NO contact, she messages my sibling my exes mugshot???

So AITAH for sending the leave me alone text? Or was it warranted? Does anyone else think it’s fucking weird for her to reach out over this to my sibling to get at me since she can’t directly contact me??
