A month ago a long distance crush (f26) and I (m30) started to chat more flirty and even had a "potential relationship" talk (seeing if we match with our goals in a relationship).

Everything seemed amazing, but the closer it got to the date of the trip, the more the vibe shifted towards everything being just platonic and friendly, which I would have been fine with if that was the same vibe as what we started the conversation about the trip. We both work in the same field, so i know that deadlines for work could swamp you, draining the energy/desire to keep up the same vibe during the conversation at the start. I honestly would be ok with it if I had not offered to cover everything else if she gets her own plane ticket. I brought up that i feel like the vibe about the trip has changed but she promises that she's just busy with her work.

Now instead of a 1on1 trip where we wanted to see if we would match in a relationship type of way, it has turned into a trip where I'm just taking a friend on a mostly paid adventure for them and for the past week I've wanted to cancel the trip, but she already has gotten the tickets and flies over in couple of days. AITAH for wanting to say that I dont want to go on this trip anymore, ruining her plans for a vacation?
