So my boyfriend 32ym and I 25yf have been together for two years (we are long distance) and I started smoking weed with him about a year ago and have been using it daily in the late evening since. He’s been on and off of it for about 15 years and now wants to quit because he wants to get a job in healthcare and they drug test in the US. I live in Canada so using it doesn’t affect me. I’m traveling to see him in two weeks and I’m nervous about not getting any sleep while I’m there and weed definitely helps with that. Ive just let him know that I’m on the fence about wanting to not use any while I’m there because lack of sleep makes me irritable and fatigued and I don’t want to feel that way and now he’s pretty pissed about it. Should I be more supportive by quitting while I’m there or is it not that big of a deal if I’m literally just using it before bed?
