I am 50, single female and met a guy yesterday at the gas station (omg, please don’t laugh lol). We were both pumping gas, just being friendly and taking for about 10 minutes. We exchanged phone numbers before leaving. He did text me almost immediately after leaving saying he should have kissed me. I don’t think I gave off any sultry vibes or anything like that when we were talking. Anyway, I thought it was kind of weird but wasn’t sure if I was overthinking it. He texted and asked me what I thought of him and I said it’s hard to say because I don’t know you or your character. He sent me several other texts that night calling me baby and sweetie (I did not text him back using pet names). Other texts said he wants to cuddle me all night (I did not text anything like this to him). He asked me to send him pictures of me in my pajamas (I didn’t ask for pictures of him and I didn’t send any pajama pictures). I work remote and he is texting saying he wants to bring me lunch. I don’t know him well enough to just hand out my address to some guy.

I have been single for about 3 years. I’m not on any dating apps or anything like that. Are the texts he sends me … normal? Am I just overthinking things? Sweet lord, am I just old? Part of me does want to be honest with him as I did think he was cute and he was super nice when we were talking. Now, I just think it’s weird and can’t fathom what kind of texts he will send 2 days from now. It just makes me uncomfortable.
