Can't post this on my page.

I moved out of my home state about 8 years ago and moved in with my my girlfriend about 3 years ago. Haven't been home in almost 5 years and only one of my friends and my folks have ever come visit me since I moved out of state. My girlfriend and I are going on vacation soon but not to my state, rather the one right next to it. The vacation is for a festival we are going to and I don't think my family is going to be able to drive over just to see me. I haven't been able to go home because I've been working 2 jobs. Lately I've just been dreaming about being home and they are very vivid dreams. Like last night I dreamt I was having dinner with my parents and I remember hugging them before I woke up. I've been telling my girlfriend about it and she's complaining that I'm bumming her out while she is traveling to her home state to see her friends. She asks me what wrong and I told her that I'm just missing home but then gets mad at me. I work really hard every day to support us and feel like I can't be human sometimes. Should I just get over it?
