Some years ago while my mom visiting us (we live in different countries) we were sitting at the table. At some point my mom suggested my wife to go to bed telling that it is late. My wife was apparently angry and left the room, while I stayed. All this time my wife blames me not to interfere. While I find it not appropriate one adult telling other what to do, I think it is not fare to blame me on that over years. After all my wife is also an adult and could tell her point. Also, that time it sounded me like taking care, rather than commanding what to do. AITAH?
