I posted this already on another sub and people seem to think my wife is racist. I don't think she is. My concerns are about her calling the little girl names and is she justified?

Me-plz I don't wanna lose my family

Background: I (25M) and wife (22) have been together 4 years, 3 years before that we were together for a few months. We broke up because I was expecting a child with my gf I was with (I was with both of them). My wife ended up having a son while we were apart. We also have a son together. My wife is mixed. She is Mexican and black. I'm Mexican. Both of our families (her maternal) are white Mexicans. She did not grow up with her black family.

I just found out I have a 3 year old daughter with a woman I was with when my wife and I first got together a second time. This little girl is a month younger than our son together. The woman is black and darker skin. I've never seen my wife say a bad thing about a child before. In fact she loves all the little children in our families and friend groups. People regularly ask her to babysit.

So this is very out of character of her to be directing her anger towards a child. My wife is also not racist at all. Her two best friends one is white the other black. My best man is black. She and her sisters are literally half black.

I'm not sure if I'm overreacting here to her calling the little girl names. I don't want to lose my family but I don't think what my wife is doing is right either
