Me and my bf(20M) have our anniversary coming up in a few weeks. A few days ago I was on the phone with him and he was walking me through with what he has planned for our anniversary. He wants me to come over to his house and go on a website to make custom couple hoodies with him but I’ll have to pay for my own. As well as getting modeling clay for some crafts and watch a movie in his basement. He also wants to up Wing-stop for dinner to finish up the night. I told him after he finished talking that I thought it seemed like a great date but it’s not really what I was expecting for our anniversary, immediately after I said that he hung up the phone on me. I’m not at all saying that it is a bad idea for a date, but I’m annoyed with the fact like I’m always the one to drive over to his place and pay for things and I want to be taken out somewhere nice for once. I have done so much for him. For example, for his birthday i took him to a very expensive car exhibit restaurant that was an hour and a half drive away. I’ve also taken him to see a lantern festival that was 175 per ticket and paid for his dinner for our 6 month anniversary. By all means I would find this date idea amazing for any other night but as it’s our 1 year anniversary, AITAH for wanting more?
