So, for context my little brother, we'll call him Jake, is 10. We are currently out for dessert and earlier, when my brother was ordering dessert, he was a bit quiet then he usually is. So was I. GOD FORBID a kid, not even a teenager, has a little social anxiety about ordering at a busy cafe. My dads fiancé looked at him and said, loud enough for everyone to hear, "Stop acting like you can't speak." I know it's not big but I couldn't help but feel it was a little uncalled for.

Then later, my brother went to the toilet and my dad and his fiance sat there and MOCKED him in front of me. Grown adults btw. I know there's people with worse situations but I felt like it was just pure rude. I confronted them while my brother was still at the toilet, police telling them to fuck off. (I didn't actually say fuck off, obviously.) They LAUGHED and said, "We were making fun of you too!" And went back to mocking him. I'm pissed to say the least. They're just acting like nothing happened. Am I the ass hole for getting so mad??
