My boyfriend (m55) and I (f52)planned a weekend getaway a month in advance put down a deposit on the cabin that we are going to rent. I’ve been so excited and making plans on what we’re gonna eat what I’m gonna wear. I’m on a diet so I can lose weight he knows how excited I am about this, and then he informs me today that his family, which includes his children, grandchildren, and parents Have planned something for the very same weekend. I told him by all means go do this weekend with his family, but I am really upset about this because of all the plans we’ve made in the money we’ve put down on the deposit. Am I overreacting?
