I (20 F) have a friend Ally(19 F) who has been in a rocky relationship on and off for 2 years (cheating). Recently she opened up and told me how her relationship has been for the last 6 months (emotionally abusive and manipulative). As a response I told her more information about her partner that I had previously known but not said (to not get in the middle) which related to him crossing boundaries in the relationship. Ally then came to the conclusion to break up with with Conner, and they broke up.

24 hours later she told me they had gotten back together. Everything she had told me before the break up seemed to go out the window and she believes he will change.

Now I don’t know what to do. Should I confront my friend about her relationship again or reach out to her mom? I’m worried by doing this it could push her away causing her to stop opening up to me about her abusive relationship.
