hi im 20f and have a bf who’s 21 and we have a 6 month old together. Me and my bf have ran into a bit of money and because of that he wanted to buy a gun but i have a bit of an issue with that. 1 because we haven’t gotten married yet,(that’s another issue) but basically he isn’t even thinking of buying me a ring to marry me which he says is the issue as to why he won’t propose because he wants to get me something nice and not something cheap. 2 this man has so man bills to catch up on and it kinda pisses me off he isn’t even worried about paying then off and they just keep adding to the bills because of interest. 3 i wouldn’t mind my bf having a gun but it kinda scares me to have one around us. i like the thought of having it protecting us but at the same time theres that thought in the back of my head that something bad might happen. and i feel like the asshole because he’s been so excited about it but i just feel like we need to spend the money on his bills and not buying a gun. he wants to spend 700+ on buying one. and i love my bf i want to spoil tf outta him but i just want him to get his priorities straight. and i just feel horrible because he’s been talking about it with his hbs. but also we live with my parents currently and i don’t want them to find out and then judge because he bought a 700+ dollar gun but he can buy a ring to marry me. so am i the asshole for telling him we canbuy it after he pays his bills and maybe once he marries me after letting him get excited about it for about a month???
