I work at a company that has less than 50 employees. The company is normally a shit show. People are friendly but there is always talking behind people's backs. The owner recently passed away and they are closing the company the day of the funeral. The staff has been told they can go to the funeral and get paid or take the day off. I met the owner once is passing. I'm I the asshole for thinking that I should just take the day off?
