WIBTAH if I sued a family member that stole my inheritance when I was a child? Hello reddit I need help I just found out that I was supposed to inherit 100 000 when I was a child. The money was in an Account at the Bank and I should have gotten it when I turned 18 but I didnt. I just recently found out about it cuz my family member confessed and offered to pay me back half in 20 years but I feel like that wouldnt be fair? How was it even possible that the Bank allowed that to happen? It happened 10 years ago but I dont have any documents cuz I was a child and the Bank has been refusing to let me see any documents for a month now. I think someone in the Bank might have helped them steal the money because how else was it possible that they took 100 000 from a childs inheritance and transfer it to their account without anybody questioning it? What can I do? I dont have any family to help or the documents to prove it? Can I settle with my family member and sue the Bank?
