So I haven’t been in this sub for very long, maybe 3-4 months or so - but since I’ve been here, I would say almost every single top post has several accusations of the post/OP, basically being phoney bologna.

I’m not making this post because I think there’s no scenario that involves fake bullshit that gains traction here - but what I am confused about, is why the level of paranoia in this sub is so high?

I get certain smokescreen posts, that “subtly” exploit a subject that leaves breadcrumbs to an Onlyfans account…but if that isn’t the case, why is there such a healthy amount of people here so quick to accuse a post of being bullshit? Is there some Reddit monetization system I’m not aware of that might lend itself to this sort of relentless incredulity I keep seeing on almost every single topic/post that gains any sort of momentum?

I’m not trying to be a bumptious schmuck here; more than anything I just feel like I’m missing something.
