AITA. I am in a pub quiz team which competes every Wednesday night. We are a group of about 10 which rotates weekly to make a team of six for the actual quiz. We are very successful and win more often than not. Now, there is one man in the group who constantly questions my answers - even when he doesn’t have an alternative answer. He’ll just say “no, that’s wrong”. He doesn’t do this with any of the men in the team. Without seeming boastful, I am the best in the team - something everyone agrees on. So, last week I got fed up with his objections to me (and only me) that I called him out by saying “G****, if you don’t have an alternative answer, stop just saying I’m wrong because I’m female.” I know I’m NTA for calling him out, but I probably should have taken him aside rather than do it in front of everyone. On the other hand, why shouldn’t I highlight his misogyny?
