My husband (45M) took our son (3.5M) to a massive indoor playground. Son was playing up high and shouting down to my husband. I (35F) am wondering if my husband took this too far and was an AH. According to him, this is the conversation went down:

Random mom: “Oh, it’s your day with the kid huh?” smiles

Husband: “What? No, every day is my day since my wife died last year.”

Random woman: so many emotions on her face

Husband walks away.
