It seems like every day we get a new fake, unbelievable, outrage generating post that just screams AI, that gets voted to the very top and makes it to /all.
Just today we had the over-the-top restaurant post about friends being invited to celebrate a birthday then being charged.
It had everything-hyphens-perfect syntax-moral outrage-brand new account with no post history at all. All it was missing was the "now my friends think I've gone too far."
And yet, despite it obviously being a AI generated outrage bait story, it is massively upvoted and drowns out actual conversation.
You see this pattern every day (AITA for being upset my boyfriend killed my cat? AITA by getting sad when my wife cheated on me???). The most asinine story designed to farm karma.
I'd love to have a restriction on who can post/create topics so we aren't flooded on a daily basis with obviously fake stories.
Please wait...
