Ive never post my stuff in this subs but im feeling pure rage right now.

This story is about my bf (m29) and I (f31)

We’ve been together for five years now, Ive always suffered from migraines but they were getting out of hand in the past months. I went to a few doctors, got my eyes checked and now I have eyeglasses that definitely had helped me. Im very sensitive to bright or dim lights but my glasses had made ir easier the last weeks.

I mentioned the other day to my bf that I dont feel as triggered by lighting as I was. Today I woke up and I asked him as a favor to go to the roof of the house to turn off the water heater (it has to be done that way bc reasons), now I live in the caribbean and normally roofs are ultra bright because of the primer paint, so even with eyeglasses is really bothersome. I also was driving him today to work. So I asked him as a favor to go upstairs and turn the water heater off bc the light bothers me and he weaponized it against me. He asked me “you want me to go upstairs because the light bothers you but you are going to drive me to work and the light doesnt bother you there?”

My response was really triggered and everything went down from there. I told him basically how can he feel he has the right to put me in the spot as if I, his gf of years, is lying when he doesnt understand this condition. I also added that is the reason he has problems with everyone and that is if he was questioning himself lately for being standoffish, yes he is standoffish. Why does he feel the need to try to one up me or whatever when Im asking for a favor. Like, dude, I wash your clothes, make you breakfast, clean the house and cant even ask you for a favor because im lying????

Short story he says is not about the favor is about making stuff up and to this point he is pissed talking shit and im way too pissed to feel like I actually want him yo understand me. For what? He’s already talking like he knows absolutely everything.
