hai! so i had this friend since 3rd grade, we got especially close during 7th and 8th grade when we had a friend group of 4 together. she already had like a bestfriend out of all of us in the group and it was easy to tell they were a duo. one of my friends from that group moved to El Salvador with her dad, leaving just me and the other 2 girls in the group, and they were constantly leaving me out of things and never texted me first. i don't know if that's a real problem to adults, but it just felt like they weren't even making an effort to talk. over the summer break, we hardly talked until we went to a themepark together, then school started again. we talked on the first week of school, but stopped. i stopped talking or texting them to see if they would even bother to talk to me first or come up to me instead of me being the one to initiate conversations or hangouts. i was very wrong! they haven't spoken to me AT ALL since then and haven't even spared me a glance for almost the entire school year. just in March, which is 2 months before our school goes to break, i got a text from the one i knew from 3rd grade asking me "did u want to drop us" and it was so confusing like where did i even say that. anyways we talked and she wanted to be friends again, and i guess i was excited at the time so i said yes, but after that conversation she STILL HASN'T TEXTED ME OR COME UP TO ME. keep in mind we have a class together in the mornings. except she has this group of really mean friends who judge people and i'm definitely below average looking so i'm not tryna get called chopped or chuzz by her friends. anyways, i want to see if she will really make an effort to be my friend or if she just wants to make fun of me. i dont know how i feel about her right now.
