This may be a long story but I met this girl on a dating app awhile back and we have a long distance relationship I drive to see her every weekend. So the first two weeks we were talking everyday on the phone and texting and I’m the type of person that if I really like someone I cut off any and everything that could potentially be a relationship with someone else and I make it known that so in return she told me she’d do the same. So after two weeks of talking I drove to see her for a date I took her out and we went back to her place where we only kissed and nothing more I later left and we both agreed that we were exclusive to eachother but that we both knew the entire time we’re going to be a couple which we later on did become a couple but down the road I’ve asked her if it’s anyone she talks to from her past and first she said no but later on confessed about a guy she been with before who she now only has a friendship with and they talk occasionally I told her I didn’t like it but she said she was trying to “fizzle” things out and let him down easy.. fast forward I’m drove down to see her again and she tells me that he reached out to her two times since me and her started talking 1 was the day of our first date and 2 was the week I came down to see her again. Now we’ve been together for a few months and I just found out that he reached out to her another time that first month but she “forgot” that he did and “forgot” to mention it to me but she deleted the messages and swears they didn’t meet up or sleep together… I feel very indifferent about this whole thing and I just feel lied to and find it hard to trust her knowing she kept this from me especially with a guy who lives in her city who she was intimate with before and wanted to allow things to end slowly rather than just tell him she was talking to/dating someone. I don’t see myself breaking up with her but now when I ask her if anything else or more happened and when she tells me no I find it hard to believe.
