I’m 20M and my girlfriend is 19F

I don’t know if this is a cultural thing so I keep holding back from saying anything but my girlfriend’s mom loves holding my hand. When we go out in public, she’ll grab my hand and want to hold it or she’ll take my arm and want to walk like that. This isn’t for a short time, she’ll want to be like that the entire time. She likes petting my hair and giving me compliments too. She is really obsessed with my eye color but a lot of people comment on my eyes?

I think all of this just might be her personality.

None of this is in a sexual way or anything, it’s in a friendly and maybe motherly way?

I’ve never had a mom so I don’t know if maybe she’s just trying to be warm towards me because she knows things about me.

But I find it kind of uncomfortable even if she means well. I guess I’m not used to receiving affection from an adult.

I talked to my girlfriend and she said her mom will misunderstand and her feelings might get hurt if I tell her to stop. So my girlfriend has tried asking her mom to stop on my behalf.

Her mom just disregards what she says lol

AITAH if I express that I don’t want to hold hands or have her touch me so much?

Or should I just learn to be more comfortable
