Growing up my parent's have been slobs. They still are to this day. Anyway I don't drive unfortunately because of medical reasons. So sometimes as a last results I have to ask my mom unfortunately. Last week I had her take my daughter to a appointment. She showed up 2 hours early. " Fine I guess. More time in her nasty stinky car. Eye roll" yes I do give her gas money. 20$ and weed. Not the point. So as she was driving she was going on about some issues with her car . " For some reason every car that she has ever had she has issues with. She was telling me how my brother in law is going to work on it for her and pointed to the area where the wires need to fixed. Would I be the AH if I tell her that I hope that you clean up the huge mess in here if you want him to do it for free. Why do you think my husband stopped working on your cars. It's so messy that my son dropped a few dollars in change and started to pick it up and nearly gagged saying it's so gross I'm just going to leave it. Yes I know that I could clean it out myself for the rides or whatever. But I tried it once and less than a month later it was a mess again. I only need a ride from her once or twice a year. Before anyone else says Uber , ride share, taxi. I live about 20-30 out of town in the country. I can't even get pizza delivery. Uber would cost a fortune.
