My sister in law has kids, they’re chill honestly I don’t dislike them. She’s raising them the best she can. We grew up differently so naturally we’d have different opinions. For me, if the only things she has to talk about are kid-related then she and I just have nothing to talk about. I am fine with that. Why would I be a good person to consult anyway? It’s just getting to the point where I’m likely visibly disinterested in every conversation we have. She’s a stay at home mom, I’m a project manager… like come on we really do actually have nothing in common. So I guess what I’m asking is wtf do I do to seem like I give a shit when probably everyone knows I do not?
