I joined this so called “Christian group” on Snapchat and essentially had everything I wanted, nice Christian online people (I don’t want online friends as, not being stupid here, but I have enough in real life) but the person who I had to add to join the group wanted to be friends with me, boy oh boy was this a bad mistake. We play this game called “adopt me” on Roblox and we played with her little sister before and as it was her birthday in a few days, I decided I was going to give her this free pet (which is what you have in the game where you can trade them until you get the one you like) but on the day of her birthday I was going to be busy doing something or another so I gave it to her sister to give to her on her birthday. However I was texting this “Christian” friend and she said she “didn’t deserve the pet” and kept it for herself. You can also do something in this game called “trust trading” which is where you give someone a pet then they can give you your pet back and a better one, however quite a few people (including my “Christian friend”) do this but don’t give them the good pet and the other persons old pet back. She told me of this and I have been trying to convince her since not to do this. However during the time between me finding out about the “trust trading” and the birthday present not being delivered the “Christian” friend told me her sister told her therapist that I didn’t give her the monkey. Now 2 things bad here: I had no clue these people had experienced trauma that required them to have therapy and secondly, I wanted to give her the pet BUT HER SISTER DIDNT DELIVER IT! So it’s now at today where I receive a message from my “friend” she said her sister stole her pets and she wanted me to convince her sister that she could do a “trust trade” with people and give the pets back (sorry this is so confusing) so her sister would do a trust trade and give my “friend” her old pets back, ofcourse I wanted to help! I like helping people and it didn’t seem like it was exactly scamming by doing this as the pets were rightfully hers. So I gave her my best pets (worth around 70 real life pounds, some people sell these pets on eBay and others actually buy them!) and then she took them. She then claimed her WiFi was laggy and she wasn’t moving I then asked her for my pets back when she ignored me and started insulting me. Then her sister stated insulting God, insulting God and I was genuinely fuming at this point, not only that I lost a friend (I wasn’t really upset about that as I feared as much) but that they where now insulting God. I left the game then messaged her this- “Hey X you can keep the pets but please don’t try contacting me again.” Then I removed her and left this groupchat, I don’t think that I have done anything wrong here and glad I almost seemed to of dodged a bullet, please could you guys give me some advice here?
